Okay, so this istotallyrandom (but not really). Like right now, I’m watching Powerpuff Girls (my all time favorite cartoon from my childhood) on Boomerang and, of course, the villain of this episode is Mojo Jojo. For no apparent reason, I start listing all the major villains from this series. Mojo Jojo, obviously, The Gangreen Gang, Sedusa, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess Morbucks, The Rowdyruff Boys, The Amoeba Boys, Him. Him.
Do any of you remember Him? Tall, red-skinned, devilish-looking guy with crab claws, curled beard, and that really high pitched voice? Yeah, he was the most dangerous villain in the whole series, PPG never actually knew how to defeat him.
I SO want to know about others’ thoughts, but I’m putting my thoughts out there first. I was always so scared of Him. So scared. Even though Powerpuff Girls was cake compared to Courage the Cowardly Dog and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, whose creepy, disturbing, and spooky antics didn’t phase/bother me in the slightest. Ironic isn’t it? I was such a strange child. (Still am.)
Anyway, back to Him. Did you know that’s not his actual name? It’s because he is “so sinister, so evil, so horribly vile that his real name can never be said.” But seriously though, Him is the only cartoon character to give me nightmares. I honestly think that he was one of the reasons I started collecting dreamcatchers.

I’m watching an episode with him in it right now, and remembered the episode where they went on vacation and came back and the town’s all destroyed and they had supposedly been gone for years.

Like, that topped the x-files episode with the dolls that came to life. I didn’t sleep for a few days after that.
Hated that guy.
I’m pretty sure, at least for me, that that is the exact episode that started the nightmares.

So these are the first names that pop into my head when I see them: Simon Cowel or Timon (depending on how you look at it), Dramafever (where I watch all my asian dramas), Young One (how close I am to calling him “Young Grasshopper” because it’ll make me feel like more of a master of something… like karate or Jedi), and last but not least, Jesus. Happy 24/25th birthday Dong Youngbae. I don’t have reasons why i adore you the way i do but i can only say that you’re the reason itself. You make my heart flutter, you shoulder me through shitty times and your smile lights up the hearts of many.You’re humble, loving, caring and most of all genuine. You don’t try hard to be someone you’re not. You just let things be and always care about what you think about yourself rather than what people think about you. I’d call you fun, not an embarrassment. Guys like you are only 1 in a million. You’ve got so far and it makes me proud to see where you’re standing right now. Imagine a city where graffiti wasn’t illegal, a city where everybody drew whatever they liked. Where every street was awash with a million colours and little phrases. Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that felt like a party where everyone was invited, not just the estate agents and barons of big business.
